Our Mission
The mission of Misr Public Library for 2026 is to provide a comprehensive cultural and knowledge service aimed at building the Egyptian citizen and developing their awareness, through an integrated system that combines reading, technological learning, and interactive activities.
Our Vision
Misr Public Library's vision centers on being a leading cultural and knowledge lighthouse in building and empowering the Egyptian citizen culturally, professionally, and digitally, by providing an open environment for lifelong learning and integrating technology into its services.
About Misr Public Library
Misr Public Library (formerly Mubarak Library) was established under a cooperation agreement between the Egyptian Ministry of Culture and the German Bertelsmann Foundation in January 1993. The first Board of Directors for the library was formed in 1994.
